Somato Respiratory Integration (SRI) is a set of breathing exercises that involves the breath and body. Soma, meaning body, and respiration, meaning breath. These SRI exercises allow you to connect with the natural rhythms of your body through energy, touch, and movement and are based on the 12 Stages of Healing, created by Dr. Donald Epstein.
The following link will take you to YouTube where Dr. Mel Krug will lead you step-by-step through all 12 breathing stages/exercises along with an explanation of each. As with all things, just start small. One step at a time.

Wim Hof holds 26 Guiness World Records and by some is considered almost super-natural. Truth is, anyone can do what he can do, and he has proven that time and again in various studies using some of his top students.
In short, our body is capable of more than what we know. We must simply learn to discipline it and work with it.
While his breathing methods differ from Somator Respiratory Integration, the effects are just as profound. Wim is also referred to as The Iceman for his incredible ability to sustain himself in extremely cold environments.
The link below will take you to Wim Hof's main page on YouTube where you will find plenty of videos for beginning breathwork with him, as well as many on beginning cold therapy.
